I LOVE MY BOO

GMHC (Gay Men’s Health Crisis) is one of the world’s leading providers of HIV/AIDS prevention, care and advocacy. It’s a New York-based non-profit volunteer-supported and community-based organization.
Last week GMHC re-launched “I LOVE MY BOO”. Initially displayed in gay bars, the "I LOVE MY BOO" campaign has now expanded to more than 1,000 New York City subway cars and 150 NYC subway stations !

The campaign, filled with images of black and Latino committed gay couples, has two main objectives: to prevent HIV infections and to increase the representation of gay black and Latino men in the media.
I LOVE MY BOO” features real young men of colour loving each other passionately. Rather than sexualising gay relationships, this campaign models caring, and highlights the importance of us taking care of each other.

And we think it’s an AWESOME campaign !
